Junior/Mid Level Technical Consultant
The client is a fast-growing software company specializing in modular solutions that optimize end-to-end transportation management. With over 35 years of industry experience, they help businesses worldwide make their logistics processes more efficient and sustainable. Their TMS platform is ranked among the top five globally, supporting over 200,000 users in 80 countries who rely on their technology to streamline and enhance transportation operations.
The company is looking for a Technical Consultant to join their team! This role involves working closely with customers and internal stakeholders to provide technical consulting, support throughout project lifecycles, and implement solutions.
The position is based in Barcelona, Spain (hybrid working modality).
Tasks
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to deliver technical consulting and support throughout project lifecycles.
- Participate directly in customer projects to implement solutions, provide expertise, and ensure successful delivery.
- Investigate and troubleshoot system behaviors across applications and programming languages.
- Assist customers in understanding and implementing EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes, including data conversion and integration workflows.
- Provide expert advice on integrating systems using APIs, EDI, and other connectivity solutions.
- Work with SQL for tasks such as report generation, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the company s applications to address technical challenges and support customer needs.
- Mentor and support other consultants in resolving complex technical issues, promoting knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements
- Strong SQL knowledge for data querying and reporting.
- Solid understanding of APIs, web services (REST/SOAP), and system integration processes.
- Experience with EDI processes and tools for data conversion and integration workflows.
- Proficiency in Java other programming languages are a plus.
- Knowledge of logistics workflows and systems is a strong advantage.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and stakeholders.
- Ability to learn and apply detailed knowledge of the company s applications.
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with an agile mindset.
- Strong people skills with experience engaging customers.
