In Manufacturing Integration and Management, we are globally responsible for the Production and Filling processes and their implementations in the SAP landscape of BASF. Furthermore, we connect underlying commercial and proprietary Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). In addition, we provide our own in-house MES solution. The corresponding end-to-end solutions are rolled out to our internal business partners globally in corresponding projects.
Our product Manufacturing Management delivers horizontal and vertically integrated solutions from SAP to various Manufacturing Execution Systems by developing and implementing efficient production processes focusing on production development, production planning, production execution, and batch management. You will join our exciting global BASF S/4 business transformation using state-of-the-art SAP and AI solutions.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

- Being part of a diverse global team and working with colleagues on complex IT projects in the Manufacturing area, delivering crucial solutions to businesses, functions, and operations across BASF.
- Consulting, implementing, and supporting the full lifecycle of our products globally with a focus on SAP PP PP/PI.
- Understanding and analyzing business requirements and translating them to system solutions by conducting functional design, development, deployment, modeling, and configuring of the system, as well as setting up master data.
- Managing the EMEA production stakeholder community by organizing regular community events, creating/moderating and executing trainings, and updating key-user material and internal knowledge documents.
- Willingness to learn, adopt, and drive to new technologies and tools.
- Ensuring close team collaboration to leverage available knowledge sessions.
- Identifying and implementing improvements in each project and advising the management team in an emphatic and competent manner.
- Actively pulling and taking over tasks and working self-organized.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

- A university degree in the area of computer science or similar.
- 5 years or more experience in project management and IT consulting, specifically in Production for the chemical or processing industry, with strong customer focus.
- Ability to design and implement complex business requirements.
- Strong experience in communication, change, stakeholder, and training management.
- In-depth process and technical knowledge in SAP Manufacturing preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English.

NICE TO HAVE

- Experience with agile development methods like Kanban.
- Agile Certification(s) from Scrum Alliance or SAFe (or others).
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Experience working with Level 3 solutions - MES Filling solutions.
