Solution Architect SAP QM

Join our Team Quality Assurance Control DevOps within the department Digitalization of Production Technology and be part of our journey to drive our application portfolio for our global stakeholder community. Our goal is to support the divisions to comply to regulatory and legal requirements, improve administrational, production and logistic processes to make them more effective and efficient.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
You work in a DevOps (Development and Operations) organization while also having regular exchange with consultants from other areas (SAP, Business Process Integration) and are responsible for connecting new site locations from planning up to implementation.
Furthermore, you are in charge of development and management of data pipelines to integrate plant laboratory instruments and take care of BASF standard instrument connection as well as integration to SAP/QM.
You work on the integration of new analytical devices from concept to implementation and work closely with heads of plant laboratories as well as laboratory technicians.
In addition, you support tests from analytical devices to SAP/QM (if necessary, directly in the lab) and GO LIVE activities like training and support.
REQUIREMENTS
degree in computer science or information technology with experience in Lab Automation and Analytical Devices
at least 7+ years of hands-on experience in SAP QM (R/3, S/4HANA), ideally covering multiple projects in various phases, such as design, implementation, upgrade, and support.
in-depth know-how in SAP QM modules, integration with other SAP modules like PP (Production Planning), MM (Material Management), some understanding of ABAP (SAPs programming language), and supply chain processes
familiarity with agile delivery methods such as Scrum and utilization of work organization tools like Azure DevOps for efficient collaboration and timely project delivery
excellent communication and presentation skills in English and German which define you as an effective team player
creative and motivated working style with a strong focus on innovation and customers
