Cyber Security Lead with English
We are working with a global leader in the pharmaceutical and life sciences industry, renowned for their commitment to innovation and improving patient outcomes. Our client, a German multinational with 60,000+ employees in 66 countries, offers a unique opportunity to transform the world through healthcare, life sciences, and performance materials.
As part of the Sector Cyber Security team, you will play a key role in protecting the Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure within manufacturing, quality control (QC), and R D laboratories. Your mission is to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems and software-based products, working closely with global IT and OT cybersecurity teams.
Tasks
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls within Business Managed Applications used in manufacturing, QC, and R D labs.
- Collaborate with global IT and OT security teams in a matrix organization, serving as a key reference for site Cyber Security Managers.
- Work with IT/OT Security Architects to plan, implement, and document security solutions and projects.
- Support OT security programs, ensuring the development, execution, and maintenance of security policies, controls, and processes.
- Lead the Cyber Security Incident Response Team for major security incidents across business functions, defining OT security events, thresholds, and monitoring dashboards.
- Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs, identifying required skills within the OT Security organization, assessing knowledge gaps, and ensuring continuous upskilling.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Cyber Security professional with a strong background in leading and implementing security measures within a complex organizational structure.
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and OT security best practices.
- Ability to analyze OT security risks, manage priorities, and propose solutions that balance security and business needs.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, including developers, security architects, project managers, and Cyber Security Managers.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and regulations, such as ISO27005, NIST, IEC 62443, GDPR, Namur, ENISA, BSI.
- Professional cybersecurity certifications (e.g., GICSP, CSSA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA) are highly valued.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with experience working at both technical and business leadership levels.
